எகிப்து - 03 - ஒலியும் ஒளியுமாக பிரமிட்

அடுத்து நாங்க பிரமிட பார்க்க புறப்பட்ட போது ஒரே உற்சாகம் , இந்த ஒரு சமயத்துக்காக தான் எகிப்துக்கு டிக்கட் வாங்கினதுதலயிருந்து காத்துகொண்டிருந்தோம். ஆனா கைரோலயிருந்த டிரபிக் சிக்கல் எங்க உற்சாகத்த கொஞ்ச கொஞ்சம் கரைச்சுகிட்டு இருந்தது, கடைசிய கிஷா போய் சேர்ந்தப்ப மணி 5:30. மாலை சுரியன் மறையரதுக்குள்ள, பிரமிடுக்காண நுழைவு வாசல முடிடாங்க. அதனால எங்க டிரைவர் ஒரு குதிரலாயத்துல நிறுத்தி ஓட்டக சவாரியொட பின் வழி முலம சுத்த சம்மதிக்க வைச்சார். ஒட்டக சவாரிக்கு டிரைருக்கான கமிஷனையும் சேர்த்து ஒருத்தருக்கு 250 எகிப்திய பவுண்டு. முதல்ல ஒட்டகத்துல ஏறதுக்கு கொஞ்சம் பயமாயிருந்ததுனால நான் குதிரைல ஏறி கொண்டேன். இந்த குதிரை வெறி பிடித்து ஓடின என்ன பண்ணறது நினைக்கும் போதே வயிற்றுல பாட்டாம் பூச்சி பறக்கறது மாதிரியிருந்தது. எப்படியே தைரியமா பிரமிட நோக்கி சவாரிய தொடர்ந்தோம். சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் யாருமில்லாம அந்த பாலைவனம் பாலைவனமாகவே இருந்தது, மறையும் சூரியனின் பொன் சிகப்பு வானத்தின் முன் காலத்தை வென்ற புன்னகையுடன் பிரமிடுகள், கண்னின் இமைகளோடு ஒட்டிய கம்பீரமான காட்சிகள். சவாரிய முடித்துவிட்டு வழி திரும்பும் முன் வெயிலின் உக்கரமிரங்கி கடும் குளிர்க் காற்றாய் மாறியடிக்க தொடங்கியது.

பிரமிட் ஒலியும் ஒளியும் நிகழ்ச்சிகாக குதிரை லாயத்தின் மொட்டை மாடியில இடம் புடிச்சோம். இரவில் ரொம்ப இருட்டாயிருந்ததுனால, என் கேமராவை 1600 iso வில் வைத்து ஆயத்தமானேன் . பிரமிடுகளின் முகப்புகளில் லேசர் ஒளிகதிர்கள் வர்ணத்தைப் புசியபடி வருணைகளோடு தொடங்கியது ஒலியும் ஒளியும் நிகழ்ச்சி. வர்ணனைகள் சரியா கேட்கவில்லைனாலும் மொத்த 30 நிமிட நிகழ்ச்சியும் பார்க்க நல்லா தான் இருந்தது. அடுத்து எகிப்து வந்ததுக்கு ஞாபகமா வாங்கறதுக்கு ஒரு கைவினைக் கலைபொருள் அங்காடிக்கு சென்றோம். இரவு சாப்பாட்டுக்கு felfela ங்கற எகிப்திய உணவகத்துக்கு போனோம், அங்க சைவ வகைகள் குறைவயிருந்தாலும் சுவையெல்லாம் இந்திய வகை மாதிரிதான் இருந்தது. அடுத்து எங்களுடைய அறை பார்த்து கிளம்பிய போது முதல் நாள் பயணம் இனிதே நிறைவேறியது.

உண்மையை சொல்ல போன, முதல் நாள் எகிப்திய அனுபவம் எதிர்ப் பார்த்து போலயில்லை தான். தூசிப் படிந்த கைரோ நகரம், மந்தமாக தொடங்கிய பயணம், எரிச்சலுட்டும் அறைகாப்பாலர் என்று காரணங்கள் ஒரு பக்கமிருக்க ... என்னோட புதிய கமராவோடு முதல் பயணம், சக்காராவின் எழில் மிகு காட்சிகள், குதிரை சவாரி அனுபவம், அந்தி பொழுதில் பிரமிடின் காட்சிகள் இவையெல்லாம் சமன் படுத்துவதாகவேயிருந்தது. அடுத்து லக்ஸர் பயணமாவது நல்லா அமையும்கிற நம்பிக்கையொடு முன்று மணி நேர தூக்கத்தை அரம்பித்தோம்.

Egypt - 03 Sound and Light show in Pyramid

We are waiting for this moment from the day we booked our ticket to Egypt. Yes, we are on our way to reach the great pyramids. But it’s the traffic which kept us at bay and It was around 17:30 when we reach Giza. By that time, the Sun was already on its way back to sleep and the entry for the pyramids were closed. Our driver convinced us to take a camel ride and parked us in a stable. We agreed for a deal of 250 egp per person which includes the 'commission' for our driver. At first, I was reluctant to ride a camel so I mounted myself on a horse. But still all of a sudden I felt bunch of butterflies in my stomach and i was terrified to think what happens if this horse goes mad now. I started accommodating myself with nerves and headed towards the wonder. With most of the tourists were on their way back, the whole desert was deserted left only with us and the great pyramid portrayed along with the sunset's golden silhoutte, an astounding scene. when we are on our ways back, the air around us went to the other extremes and this time desert started casting its deadly spell of cold breeze.

Back in the stable we were allotted the balcony seats in the terraces for the sound and light show. It was very dark out there; I armed my camera with the maximum iso 1600 to compensate it. The show started when laser lights brushed colors on the pyramids along with the commentary of its history. Though we didn’t hear that commentary, the light show was very nice. The show lasted for 30 min , after that we went to a anticraft shop for buying some soveniuer. For the whole day we didn’t had proper meals, so we want to have good dinner and Our driver dropped us in Felfela an authentic Egyptian restaurant. There was only a limited option for the vegetarian and cuisines were spicy like ours. Our day one adventure ended when we started towards our hotel...

To be honest, we were a bit disappointed with the way our first day in Egypt passed by. The dusty cairo, lazy start, annoying hotel manager and irritating touts all added to the odds … on the even side, its my first date with the new camera, fantastic view from the saqquara plain, maiden horse riding experience and the view of the pyramids at the dusk balanced it out. With the dream of a better day, we had a brief 3 hours sleep, before we kick off our day two adventure in Luxor.
