எகிப்து - 02 - சக்காரவில் ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட்

சக்காராவில நாங்க முதல்ல பார்த்தது ம்தோப்போட அருங்காட்சியகம். ம்தோப்ங்கிறவர் வரலாற்றுல பெயர் பெற்ற ஒரு கட்டிடக்கலை வல்லுனர். இவர் தெஸேர்ங்கிற மன்னனுக்காக வடிவமைச்சு கட்டினது தான் இந்த் ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட். எகிப்த் வந்து முதன் முதல ஒரு மம்மிய பார்த்து இந்த அருங்காட்சியகத்துல தான். அது யாரோட மம்மின்னு குறிப்பு எதுவும் அங்க இல்ல, அநேகம அந்த மம்மி ம்தோப்போடதுனு நம்பி அடுத்து நகர்ந்தோம். இந்த இடத்துல மம்மிக்கு அடுத்து நம்ம முக்கண்ணுக்கு ( நம்ம கேமராவ தாங்க ) எடுப்பா பட்டது அழகு குறையாத இந்த தான் ஆபரணம். அது இன்றும் தன் ராணியின் அழகை கவிதையாக புகழ் பாடிக் கொண்டிருப்பது போல தான் தெரியும். எப்படியோ ஒரு வழியா இந்த அருங்காட்சியகத்த சுத்தி முடிச்சிட்டு ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட்யிருக்கிற வாளகத்துக்கு போனோம்.முகப்பிலேயே ஒரு பெரிய கோயில், இரு பக்கமும் வரிசை வரிசையாக தூண்கள், வழியின் முடிவில ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட், பாக்கறதுக்கு ரொம்ப அழகயிருந்தது.

எகிப்துல இருக்கிற பிரமிடுகளிலேயே மிக பழமையானது இந்த ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட். எகிப்தியர்கள் இறந்த பின் வாழ்றதுக்கு பிரமிடுகளை கட்டறதுக்கு முன்னாடி செவ்வக வடிவுல மஸ்தாபாங்கற கட்டிங்கல தான் கட்டினாங்க. கிசாவில இருக்குற பிரமிடுகளுக்கு இந்தஸ்டெப் பிரமிட் தான் ஒரு முன்மாதிரின்னு சொல்லலாம். ஸ்டெப் பிரமிட பார்க்க ஒருத்தருக்கான கட்டணம் 50 எகிப்திய பவுண்டு. ஸ்டெப் பிரமிடுக்கு பக்கத்துல கற்குவியல் மாதிரி சின்ன சின்ன பிரமிடுகளும்மிருந்தது. இந்தயிடத்துக்கு பக்கத்துல இன்னும் பென்ட் பிரமிட், சிகப்பு பிரமிடெல்லாம் இருக்குன்னாங்க, அதயெல்லாம் அடுத்த தடவ பார்த்துக்கலாமுன்னு இந்த்யிடத்த விட்டு நடையக் கட்டினோம்.

Egypt - 02 Step pyramid in Saqqara

In sakkara first we visited a museum where the artifacts of Imphotep were kept. Imhotep was known in the history as a great architect who built the step pyramid for the king Djoser. Inside this museum we saw the first mummy in Egypt but it was unlabelled, may it’s Imphotep’s. One another things that caught my third eye is an undamaged and beautiful ornament in that picture which still tells you about her queen’s beauty. Then we proceed to the step pyramid complex. There was a big mortuary temple at the entrance with array of big columns at each side of the way leading to the big step pyramid, a splendid sight.

Step pyramid is the eldest among it's kind in egypt. Earlier, Egyptians used to build rectangular shaped mastaba's before they came to this pyramid shape. May be we can say this step pyramid is the prototype for the monsters at Giza. There were few other small pyramids which looked like scattered pile of stones. The bent and red pyramids are said to be nearby but we spare them for the next visits ;-)
